A ‘fresh street corner supermarket’ for Morrisons new M Local concept in Ilkley West Yorkshire. Of particular note, a large use of fresh (some might say Asda) green and a very architectural girder or two that run through the space. Before Habitat, Crate & Barrel and Ikea made good design accessible for all there was Design Research. A home store first established in 1953 in Cambridge, Massachusetts by Ben Thompson. Listed building consent – or maybe not!
